Huawei has received massive success in it's African market.
The company general manager in south Africa Larking Huang, said that the OEM had sold a total of 1 Million smartphones in South Africa this year alone, and sales of over 2 Million devices in East Africa.
They also talked about their new devices which will hit Africa soon on January 2015.
The chief product marketer Yudi Rambaran said "these devices symbolize our continuous commitment to provide access to premium quality products which won't break the bank," he said referring to the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 and Ascend G7.
The ascend Mate 7 phablet sports a 6" display with Full HD resolution, 2GB RAM,16GB expandable storage, a fingerprints sensor for security and a 13MP rear camera.
The Huawei Ascend G7 sports a 5.5" display with HD resolution, a 1.2GHz processor, 13MP camera unit, 2GB RAM and a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
