Congratulations to Xiaomi Mi 3 users as affordability doesn't mean cheap for the Chinese OEM.
While bigger brands like Samsung, HTC and LG are getting their $700+ smartphones updated, Xiaomi's $300 former flagship will also receive the lollipop update.
A weibo user uploaded a picture showing the Xiaomi Mi 3 running Android Lollipop. Our source didn't ask Xing how he got hold of the pictures but Xiaomi hasn't promised any lollipop update and may release it as a surprise.
We don't know if the Mi 4 will be updated too but it may likely be updated the same time as the Mi 4.
