ephone’s new P3000S has gone on sale with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is not only available in China but globally via electronics retailer Gearbest.com at $199.73 with shipping worldwide.
As if the handset is not affordable enough, the retailer is offering a pre-order coupon code “EP3GB” which will make the product available at just $180.98. The 2GB RAM model of the smartphone is also discounted a $139.98 with a coupon”EP3000S”.
In terms of specs, the P3000S houses a 5-inch 1080p IPS touchscreen with a PPI of 441. The handset is powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset which in turn, provides support for LTE, NFC and a fingerprint scanner whose sensor is embedded at the back of the device just under the camera.
Under the hood, you’ll also find an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz alongside 2GB or 3GB of RAM (depending on configuration) and 16GB of built-in storage. The memory capacity can be expanded via the 64GB microSD card slot.
For photography, Elephone P3000S features a 13-megapixel rear camera and LED flash at the back while a 5-megapixel selfie taker is positioned at the front. Then smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is lit up by a user-removable battery with an ample capacity of 3150mAh.
