ast year’s release of the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus marked the beginning of a new dawn for Apple, so it did for some of their competitors. When a Youtube video showing how the phablet iPhone 6 Plus could bend under minimal pressure went viral, the whole Internet went agog with trolls several other phone makers with Samsung leading the pack.
Bendgate2
Samsung Galaxy s6 Galaxy S6 edge and Apple iPhone 6.
Apple was able to shun the thousands of ‘bendgate’ memes which flooded online shortly after the video was released with record-breaking sales of the iPhone 6 flagship. Not letting the sleeping dog lie, an insurance company named Square Trade went and conducted another ‘bendgate’ video showing how Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S6 edge could bend at even smaller pressure than the iPhone 6 Plus.
The video has gotten millions of views on YouTube like the first ‘bendgate’ video and Samsung seems to be getting under the edge of its own sword as fellow Korean nationals LG has come out to bash the phone maker with this intelligent poster below.
Shun the critics
Though Samsung is yet to get amount of fun Apple got poked at last year (and even this year), the only way the tech company could get its own revenge is by posting large numbers when Galaxy S6 edge sales are counted.
