Verizon has started seeding Android 5.0 Lollipop for the carrier’s own Samsung Galaxy Note 4 edition. If you use a Note 4 bought from Verizon and are yet to get the update (build number LRX22C.N910VVRU1BOAF), kindly head over to phone’s settings and check for updates under the About phone > Software updates menu.
The update weighs a hefty 1.7GB and please, remember to keep your device at least 70% charged or connect to a charger during the upgrade.
- For the records, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced in September 2014 with a 5.7″ 1440p Super AMOLED touchscreen, 3GB of RAM and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. The handset boots Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. Verizon is still offering a brand new Note 4 at $300 on a two-year contract while an unlocked model goes for $700.
