BlackBerry's upcoming Android smartphone Priv
could be priced somewhere around $780 in India. This was revealed by a
listing on Zauba, a website that tracks the country's import and export.
As you can see in the screenshot below, a total of 4 Priv units were
imported to India on October 14, each priced at INR 50,635.

Just last week, UK retailer Carphone Warehouse started taking pre-orders
for the Priv, offering it for £49($75)/month on a regular two year
contract and £580 ($895) off contract. A few days before that, renowned
Chinese leakster Leaksfly revealed that the smartphone will carry a price tag of RMB 3,999 (around $630) in China.
BlackBerry CEO John Chen has already confirmed that the device will come with a high-end price tag. "We'll make the phone financially affordable to get, whether that's by installments or something else," he had said during the Code/Mobile conference earlier this month.
If you aren't in the know, BlackBerry has also started allowing consumers to pre-register for the handset.
