Samsung and Microsoft expand strategic partnership ahead of Note10 launch

After several years of close collaboration, Samsung and Microsoft are taking their strategic partnership up a notch in time for the release of the Galaxy Note10 series. The two companies will continue to work together in bringing seamless productivity solutions across smartphones, tablets and PCs with shared applications and services.

Starting with the Note10, Samsung will provide its customers with an expanded list of Microsoft’s apps and services. Samsung and Microsoft will also continue their efforts in the enterprise sector with solutions for businesses allowing remote desktop access.

On top of the existing Office Mobile, OneDrive and Skype, Microsoft will also include its Outlook mail client with additional S-pen enhancements. In addition, OneDrive will now be able to sync the native Samsung gallery app for easier photo management across devices.
Building on the seamless integration efforts, Samsung will include the Your Phone app from Microsoft on its new devices allowing for seamless management of notifications, texts, photos as well as mirroring your phone screen to the PC.
