HTC is prepping up a smartphone which will be released before the end of the year. According to an insider it is a powerful mid-range smartphone inside a plastic cover called the HTC Desire 620 although pricing was not given.

Nixanbal suggests the device sports a 5" iPS display, under the hood is a 1.2Ghz quad core processor backed by 1GB of Ram and 8GB of possibly expandable memory.
The device runs on android 4.4.2 KitKat OS skinned with the sense 6.0 UI and may replace the 6 month old Desire 610.
