The Huawei Ascend GX1 has been unveiled in China today. The affordable phablet sized mid-ranger is definitely not for the high-end devices lovers.
The device sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720p resolution which is actually bad considering the screen size, Although on the flip side, the device sports super slim bezels with a 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and looks a lot like the Ascend Mate 7. Although not really impressive in the age of smartphones like LG G3, it's acceptable.
On the specs sheet we've got a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC running at 1.2GHz speed, an 8MP camera for photography and a 2MP snapper for your selfies, 8GB ROM backed by 1GB RAM. An extra large 3,500mAh battery and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.\\ It can be bought from Huawei at 1590 CNY (about US$255).
