Samsung Galaxy A5 hit's Russia for $440

       The second smartphone in the list of Samsung's metal clad A series; the Samsung Galaxy A5 has been unveiled in Europe, Russia to be precise where it was priced at RUB 23,990 about $440.

       The Samsung has earlier been launched in China with a dual sim slot for about $420 and will be available in a few selected countries soon.

      The Samsung Galaxy A3 was also on sale by some Russian carriers for about RUB 16,900 about $312 although some say the device is out of stock which means a later launch for the junior A family member in Russia.

    On the specs sheet the Galaxy A5 aports a 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable memory, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC and a non-removable 2,300mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
