Xolo unveils the omega 5.0 and omega 5.5 in India

      Indian OEM Lava has launched two new devices under it's Xolo brand. Each of the smartphones come in 5-inches  screen for the Xolo Omega 5.0 and 5.5-inches for the Xolo Omega 5.5.

Xolo Omega 5.0 specs

• 5-inch HD IPS display
• 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera
• 8GB internal memory [expandable]
• 1GB RAM
• 2,100mAh battery
• Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS

 Xolo Omega 5.5 specs

• 5.5-inch HD IPS display
• 8GB expandable storage
• 1GB of RAM
• 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera
• Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS
• 2,600mAh battery

 

     They both run on Android 4.4 KitKat and are skinned with Xolo's Hive UI. The Omega 5.0 will cost INR 8,999 or about 145USD and will be available by December 10 while  the Omega 5.5 cost's INR 8,999 or about 162USD and will be available by the 20th of this month.

    Xolo is also partnering with Vodafone to bring you 500MB if you buy the Xolo Omega 5.0 and 1GB if you purchase the Xolo Omega 5.5.
