Thanks to the success of Xiaomi’s “hunger marketing” aka flash sales, many companies are adopting to the online-only model of selling devices, making sure only a very limited amount of products — which is usually way much lower than demand — is available on sale at an assigned short period.
Micromax and lately Lenovo has joined the queue. With the selling out of 10,000 units of Yu Yureka in a few seconds last week, Micromax is poised to continue the method by offering more units of the smartphone on Amazon on January 22.
And now, Lenovo has launched its recently-unveiled A6000 device. The Chinese tech company says it will place a number of units of the handset on sale at Flipkart come January 28. Registration has already kicked off at the e-commerce website though we are still to know the amount of devices on sale. The phone is going to cost INR 6,999 (roughly $114) per unit.
