Oh, so you loved the OnePlus One? OnePlus is already making the OnePlus Two for you. After the “2014 flagship killer” sold nearly 1,000,000 units last year, the privately-owned Chinese tech company is ready for some action in 2015.

Information reaching us from the OnePlus camp says the OnePlus One successor, the Two, will be better spec’d, thus priced higher than the former. According to the source, a similar 5.5.” display will be used, however, the resolution has been adjusted to QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) from FHD (1080 x 1920 pixels).

Powering the OnePlus Two is going to be the popular Snapdragon 801 chipset from Qualcomm which was used in some of the biggest devices in 2014 like Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3. This will be paired with a massive 4GB of RAM just like we saw in Xiaomi’s Mi Note Pro. Accordingly, the battery capacity will be increased by 100mAh to 3,200mAh in order to rhyme with the higher demand for power. The upcoming smartphone is said to be running Android 5.0 Lollipop which perhaps isn’t the biggest surprise here.
Furthermore, the OnePlus Two is going to be pricier, sporting a price tag of RMB 2,699 yuan or $435. This contrasts sharply with last year’s One which is available for $350. A specific date wasn’t given for the Two but given that the year has just began, let’s wait and see.
