Announced back in June this year, the Gionee Marathon M5
is all set to land in India next week. The Chinese company has sent out
invitations for the launch event which is scheduled to be held in the
city of Bengaluru on November 24.
If you aren't in the know, the USP of the device is its dual-battery
setup - it packs in a pair of batteries, each 3,010mAh in capacity for a
total of 6,020mAh. In addition, the handset also uses dual charging
chips to charge both batteries at the same time.
Other specs of the smartphone include quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU, 5.5 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) AMOLED display, 2GB/16GB memory configuration, 5MP/13MP camera combo, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
