Oppo R1C finally unveiled, costs $403

   Few months ago we reported that Oppo was allegedly working on an Oppo R1C, which would be the first Oppo device with sapphire glass protection. Now that is a reality as the Oppo R1C has been unveiled today by Oppo. The device cost's  2,499 RMB which is about $403 and will be available for sale from January 20th.

The Oppo R1C body is amazingly thin at only 6.85mm and has a saphire crystal back panel as expected. It has a 5-inch HD touchscreen display, a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory expandable via microSD card slot, 13 megapixel rear camera alongside a 5 megapixel front facing camera, it is powered by a 2420mAh battery, and runs on Oppo Color OS 2.0.1 which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
